Volunteering with Bedford Radio

Bedford Radio is run completely by volunteers, and is not for profit.

To deliver local radio for Bedford, we need people to present and produce shows, and people to help with all aspects of running the station.

We're looking for presenters of daytime and entertainment shows, programmes about the interests and passions of people in Bedford, and showcases of all genres of music. We also need people to help behind the scenes – radio stations don't run themselves, and volunteering with us can be incredibly rewarding!

If you'd like to get on air, but you've never done radio before, don't worry! Full training will be given, and it's not difficult at all to get going. You can even broadcast from home – all you need is a computer, a microphone and an internet connection. And if you can't get hold of the necessary equipment, we may be able to help.
