Volunteering with Bedford Radio

Bedford Radio is run completely by volunteers, and is not for profit.

To deliver local radio for Bedford, we need people to present and produce shows, and people to help with all aspects of running the station.

Radio stations don't run themselves, and volunteering with us can be a rewarding to contribute to the community in Bedford, develop new skills and meet new people.

If you'd like to get on air, but you've never done radio before, don't worry! Full training will be given, and it's not difficult at all to get going. You can even broadcast from home – all you need is a computer, a microphone and an internet connection. And if you can't get hold of the necessary equipment, we may be able to help.
