Bedford Radio is a not-for-profit, community-based radio station.

We have numerous overheads including DAB transmission, music licensing and rent for our studio. We cover these costs in a range of ways:

• Listener and community donations and support
• Grants from charities and other grant-making bodies
• Advertising and sponsorship by local businesses.

We do not charge our presenters and other volunteers for taking part in Bedford Radio, and it's important to us that we continue to make this opportunity freely available to everyone.

If you value Bedford Radio, and think it's important that Bedford should have its own local radio station, will you support us with a monthly donation? Monthly donations of £5 / £10 / £20 will be incredibly helpful if you feel able to make them. The minimum amount accepted by our online giving platform is £2 a month, and a smaller donation will still be very gratefully received. We will send you our special black and white badge as a thank-you. These are only available to our donors.
